Anita Payne
Having had a 40-year career as a nurse, Anita has now turned her passion of family history into her
profession.
Often, people who she was in contact with through nursing found a little extra special service
from Anita, as she occasionally came up with facts they were unaware of in their family
background.
Anita's
Own Family Tree
Well, it used to be
family tree, but there are so many names we call it a “family forest”!
It is the
result of a lifetime’s curiosity and homework.
Anita has been
involved in organizing family reunions, where her own relatives were floored by facts she had compiled in the
family’s past.
Anita’s Talents
Not surprisingly she
has a lot of detective skills and stamina – she loves nothing more than the hunt for facts. However she also is
quite creative, which lets her think of alternative ways to approach a puzzle.
Anita’s Experiences
Where do we start? Let’s just say many and
varied!
Previously employed by  as a Probate
Genealogist.
Anita was employed in the Genealogy area. This was a little different as it involves finding the
beneficiaries of estates. In other words she is looking for living people as distinct from the deceased ones
so often sought in most genealogical searches.
“Wanted Dead Or Alive”
Whichever situation you seek Anita is the right one to set on the hunt.
Naturally there is no 100% chance that she will locate all of those you are seeking to
find. Remember some people don't leave a trail to be found.
Anita's Qualifications
Anita has the qualification that is the most highly regarded in Australia, and is a member of a prestigious
professional organization.

often described interesting research stories revealed by her own and her clients’ experiences.
